• What’s On At Hoveton Village Hall (September)

    There are lots of fun groups and activities taking place at Hoveton Village Hall & Park in September, including Boogie Bounce, yoga, keep fit, bridge club, and some exciting new activities such as Sound Bath and Cinema Club! Car boot sales are now held on the field every Friday and Sunday morning (weather permitting). Gates open at 8am for booties and at 11am for the general public (£7 per car; for more details please ring Dave Penrose on 07796 964653). And don’t forget to visit the monthly Hoveton Farmers and Producers Market!

    If you’re planning an event over the next few months, there’s still plenty of time to book Hoveton Village Hall. It’s a fantastic venue with a full bar available by arrangement and extensive free parking, all right on your doorstep!   • SAM2 Data (August 2019)

    During August, our SAM2 sign was again placed on Stalham Road, but this time tracking traffic leaving the village.

    The speed limit on this section of road is 40mph. Of the 154,000 vehicles that passed the sign, less than 7% were recorded at 45mph or more. 120 vehicles were recorded at 60mph or more. As always, Hoveton Parish Council has passed this data to our local police.

  • A Successful Audit

    Hoveton Parish Council recently received confirmation of the completion of the Council’s external audit for 2018-2019. No concerns were raised in the external auditor’s report, resulting in another successful audit. Your Parish Council has now published its ‘Notice of Conclusion of Audit’ alongside its audited Annual Governance and Accountability Return. These may be viewed on our Financial Documents page.
