Vacancy Filled! Hoveton Community Council has a New Clerk
My name is Alison and I’m delighted to say I’ve recently taken on the role of Clerk for the Community Council of Hoveton. I’m already getting to know how things work and am really looking forward to supporting both the council and the wider community.I’ll be working closely with councillors and residents to help keep things running smoothly, so if there’s anything you’d like to raise, suggest, or ask about, don’t hesitate to contact me. I’ll do my best to help or point you in the right direction. You can contact me by email: clerk@hoveton-cc.gov.ukI am looking forward to meeting many of you over the coming weeks, perhaps at the Annual Parish Meeting on 25th April at the Village Hall, or one of the council’s regular meetings where all residents are very welcome. The next monthly meeting is on Monday 13th April at 6.45pm please note the later date due to the Easter Bank holidays.Do also keep an eye on HCC’s website and Facebook page as there will be information on the final stages of consultation for our Neighbourhood Plan coming soon.Remember, everyone is welcome at our council meetings, they are public meetings which means you can raise questions or ask about issues on the agenda during the Public Speaking time. If you would like to have something discussed by the council please ask me at least two weeks before the next full council meeting. I can advice if it is within HCC’s remit and add to the agenda if appropriate. Please note, the council meetings are primarliy to make decisions on coucnil matters so if your issue does not require a council decision, or it is for another council or organisation to deal with, it will not be added to the agenda.Alison JordanClerk@hoveton-cc.gov.uk
